There's a school of thought, that says you can't teach an old dog new tricks, or in other words trying to teach something new to someone older is not really possible. That is the supposition at least. Well in my case the idea of learning something new for the purposes of entertainment is a non starter, particularly when the said entertainment in mind is online backgammon.

This means that you must endeavour to get the deepest checkers, those inside your opponent's homeboard out of there, quickly. It seemed easy when he explained it.

But putting it into practice that would take a few more lessons, fortunately it looks like I've found a good school to teach me.
