Whatever you are betting.

If you are betting $10 a pop, then each unit is $10.

If you are betting $1 a shot, each unit is $1.

Doesn't really matter how much each unit is.

A unit is 1 of whatever value is attributed to the bet.

10 units with a value of 10 per unit would be equal to a $100 bet.
