So I have been with my boyfriend for over a year, and I love him a lot. We both are college students and live on campus. He tends to get over-obsessive about things. He likes to play poker and lately has been going overboard. He will find anyone he can and play poker whenever he has a chance for money. He even almost got written up for gambling. He knows it makes me upset yet he could care less and does it anyways. At first he said he would play once a month which turned into once a week which turned into every day. Its all he thinks about and all he cares about. When he isnt playing for money with people, he is on the internet on some poker site playing. When he is not on that, he is watching it on TV. Last night, he said he was going to play for an hour.... 6 hours later and 5:00 in the morning he is still playing. He doesnt go to class. I am sick of it, its ruining our relationship. I have had enough. Do I have a reason to be angry? Does this happen to anyone else??? What should I do?
I just hope my bf does not become like this because he just turned 21 and we live in Vegas and he loves poker...so you can imagine...he also does the online thing and all that, all I can say is that you should talk to him and tell him that he needs to quit playing soo much because it's ruining your relationship with him. Let him make up his mind on whats more important, you or poker.
