Why doesn't BET ever show John McCain?

There are 2 presidential candidates not just 1. I want to know why BET refuses to talk about McCain.

MTV is a big advocate of voting and they show both candidates but BET doesn't acknowledge that McCain even lives.

I am currently watching this Obama stuff on BET and they are talking about one of the greatest speeches of all time was when Mr. Obama address everyone about the Rev. White teachings. It's being claimed as one of the most inspiring speeches in history and will be forever lived in history books.

Why?
No you are missing the point. It's not about a Black Entertainment Chanel or Race, It's about candidates.

And I want to understand why that speech will be regarded to some as one of the greatest speeches of all time.

It was him defending his pastor.

His pastor was spreading hatred and if and at this moment an Islamic school is under investigation for teaching hate in their material. I just wonder why this speech of defense for an obviously out of line pastor is regarded as great.
Thanks to all of this who totally missed the question, Why only show 1 candidate (in my opinion thats ignorance at it's finest) as the impressionable children of this culture is watching this and being brainwashed into only voting for this man because he's their color, and 2 how can you promote a speech that spewed hate, but if a non minority dared spewed this stuff (oh someone did at lesser of a degree... i think the phrase was nappy headded hoe and lost their job because you all got bent out of shape) but it's ok for a pastor to talk about how white people are the devil..

you can turn anything into race and this is not what the question was about it was biased towards ignorance of only further dividing our nation because the majority of BET's watchers are voting for Obama because well.. you know why

A cable channel doesn't have any obligation to show one candidate more than another. It sounds like you're watching a special about that speech, which was a pretty important speech regarding race. Plus, it's Black Entertainment Television. So sue them for talking about the black presidential candidate.

It's the Black Entertainment Channel. Duh? There are a lot of Christian channels that I happen to have, and I don't moan about how they don't cater to my atheistic soul. So whatever, get on with something else.

It's a free channel, it can do whatever it wants. It is NOT and does not claim to be a news network that tries to inform candidates, so why does it bother you? Why would any John McCain supporter watch BET in order to get their John McCain news, anyways? For the girl who supports Fox News, if your calling BET racist and scom and all that and are seriosly supporting Fox News, then you need to get a reality check.

Fox News is all from one point of view: Hard Core Republican.

I like to watch news stations like CNN where they dont lean towards the party they support, i just like facts.

I have never watched BET and have never heard of it, but you cant sit there bad mouthing it when you watch Fox.
