There's a four round boxing match between two of my co-workers (for fun) this Friday night. I'm known as the "bookie" at my work because I run a pool for football every year and sometimes basketball playoffs and such. Anyhow they want me to do squares (kinda like super bowl squares)- any ideas on the best way to do this? Thanks.
they are wearing headgear and I've made 100 squares

Are they wearing headgear etc? How many squares? Sb is like 100 right? You may need to post more info to get idea. Not sure if it will let me answer a question twice though.

You could devide the squares into groups of 4 and split the pot. Fighter A by decision, Fighter B by decision. Fighter A by KO , fighter B by KO.

If they are not wearing headgear and there is a chance of a KO you could do each fighter by KO in round1, 2 3, 4 and decision? That would give you 10 options.

well you should make the boxes and on the side put the round number and the boxer as 1 or 2 for the person to see who wins like for example do 2 on the side and 1 on top that could mean like knockout win in the 2nd round and the boxer who did it

I've run some boxing pools (for pro fights) but here is how I did it.

How many people are you including in the pool. Say you are having 11 people included. You can put 11 slips of paper in a hat with results. Fighter A KO1, 2, 3, 4. Fighter B KO 1, 2, 3, 4. Each Fighter w/ Decision Win, and 1 Pick for Draw. If you expect more people, you can break the rounds in half like Fighter A KO 1 0:01-1:30 and 1:31-3:00.

If the combatants are novice boxers (no formal training), I would recommend that proper saftey equipment is used like big gloves, mouthpieces, and headgear.

well you could do it by the judges scorecards or KO whichever occurs.
Lay it out like this on the horizontal for fighter A
<35 - 35 - 36 - 37 - 38 - 39 - 40
And the same on the vertical for fighter B
This will give you 49 squares

Then make another box 4x2 each fighter listed and then each round listed for KO
Round ____1____2____3_____ 4 __
Fighter A|_______|_____|_____|______|
Fighter B|_______|_____|_____|______|

That's all i got.
