I found a guide that saved me at least $150 on my last trip. It wasn't free but more than worth the $9 price tag from Amazon. http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/casino-guide.html . It had tons of tips for Vegas and over 140 pages of coupons.
Go to the office of the Fremont Street Experience at 425 Fremont, it's on the second floor next to Walgreens. It's in easy walking distance of all the Fremont Street hotels. Show an out of state ID, and you'll get a coupon book. Lots of good twofers for dining, free deck of cards, etc.
Wherever you play, get a player's club card, and use it on all the slots and table games. Before you leave, check out how much you have in comps and cash back.
