There's no skill. It's just luck. Players will follow previous hands as an indication of the next hand up but this doesn't work mathmatically. The only winners are the casino and the people who choose not to play in the first place.
There is no way to legally beat Baccarat. The odds are against you no matter how you bet.
You can cut the house edge to its minimum by always betting on the Banker. The Banker bet has a slightly lower house edge than betting on the Player. The tie bet has a huge house edge and should be avoided.
