I'm looking for a nice cheap place to start, where its mostly tourist or amateurs like me, any help is GREATLY appreciated. btw: how are room rates / and parking??
Taj Mahal is probably the busiest, with the Borgata up there, as well. However, a lot of the AC pros play even as low as $1-2 NL and hang in the Taj Mahal. Room rates are probably getting pretty steep, you might be better off staying at an off-boardwalk hotel. A lot of them are pretty dodgy, however, it's kind of hit-or-miss. If you're just looking for a room to crash, then this is probably your best option.
My favorite is the Tropicana, it's got a nice poker room that looks like it's been recently redone within the last few years and has a lot of gambling options. Hope this helps.
It's a no limit game so It's like jumping into a snake pit. The people there with hundreds of chips in front of them definately have an advantage over you. Trump Taj Mahal has this game.
