Bullet proof cashier cages and armed guards in civilian clothes walking around and even sitting at machines and tables. Hey, just because you don't see the metal detectors, doesn't mean they don't have them.

Some of the best security systems in the world are at Casinos, along with the Mafia boys Smile

Casinos have a "no guns" rule and everybody knows that gun owners always follow all the rules.

Those of us who carry concealed weapons know there's a law about carrying a weapon in a "room which serves alcohol" - and most casinos are just that.

However I'm sure plenty of people still carry a piece through a casino - as on the way to the restaurant - or just ignore the law.

It doesn't matter whether the casino might have a "no guns rule" - it just matters whether you're restricted by state of Federal law in carrying a piece in a casino. Last time I checked, casinos can't make laws.

But mostly I wouldn't because of the alcohol rule.

How about all those cameras in a casino on top of the armed security. Would you really want to risk it? Sure you could get a gun in there but you are breaking the law on top of all the other risks you are taking.

just one thing and one thing only....one word....MAFIA.....don't you believe for one minute that they dont have eyes and ears in every casino...especially in Vegas.....and i agree with the person who said just because you dint see the metal detectors does not mean they are not there...and there isn't a place you can go in a casino that you are not on TV in security...except maybe the stall in the bathroom that's illegal...but everywhere else you are on camera and being monitored at all times.......
