I have been working at this location for a little over a year. Within this time I have befriended my co-worker and she has become a good friend to me. It seems lately my boss has been associating me with her and the other way around by asking her where I am or telling her things that a boss should be telling me. My co-worker is young and not so experienced at what we do so sometimes I think she is resentful about the relationship boss and I had but other times I think boss is resentful of the friendship co-worker and I gained. I feel that there is a lot of manipulation and instigation between one or the other. In the past the friend has said and done things 2 gain clients and recognition. Co- worker is having a baby shower tomorrow and I am supposed to be helping out. Should I not go and stay away cuz I have animosity or shoud I go and be a good sport regardless to me leaving and feeling betrayed? Thanks for your help.
Co-worker keeps saying boss said this & that. Then she talks bad about boss. When I approach boss he says co-worker says this and that. Somebody is doing something...Who? I don't know.
Well, if the both of you know that the boss is being shady then y'all should be friends. Your boss is mean and trying to get y'all to fight. Dont befriend your coworker. You two should talk!
