Online Bingo Players Are Not What They Seem
A recent study by one of the largest bingo sites on the Internet, Bingohall, has found that offline and online demographics of bingo players do not always match up. The study, which was completed by a random sampling of real money players at the site, has thrown the view of the stereotypical player out the window.
“Typically, if you walk into any offline bingo hall, you’re going to find table after table of retired ladies sweating on the next number out”, said Bingohall’s VP Marketing Scott Logan. “We’ve found this just isn’t the case when it comes to online players.”
Logan went on to say that while the majority of their players were still women, the age demographic drops significantly, to around 35 years old. In line with this, the number of players working full or part-time was over 50%.
“We definitely see an influx of players logging on at the end of the working day in an attempt to relax and enjoy the evening with their online bingo friends”, said Logan. “We provide an enjoyable community that makes it possible, with a range of bingo games with big jackpots along with other games such as slots, video poker and keno.”
Bingohall offers a wide range of fun games such as bingo, slots, video poker and keno and awards over $8 million every month in prizes. Players enjoy some of the most exciting and innovative games along with 24/7 customer service.

| I play at both bingos and casinos and people do win. If anybody plays for real money again make sure you always read the T&C for bonuses and cashouts. A lot of sites that appear to present the best value are often not in reality. |

| I agree with the Thread Starter. Bingo always appears different and it's not what they seem inside. I stopped playing Bingo Long back. |

| It seems that ladies play bingo more than men, i think the company is making lots of money on it. |

|
| Although women have indulged in gambling there inherent nature of being sensitive and not being able to accept huge losses is evident also in gambling. |

| For a small percentage of women who gamble are adults, often being introduced to it by friends or family members, they appear to develop problems more rapidly than men do. |

| Women are developing any kind of addiction (gambling too) slower than man, but they cant quit that easy afterward. Wen a lot of older ladies have nothing else to do and most of their husbands are dead (women live longer then man) what else to do? At least they will have at least a little bit excitment. |

| It is really addictive but I guess it is that human urge to win and always trying to make back lost money - the best winners are usually those who go gambling once for a night out, win, and never return! |

I very much agree with fster. Whether you win or not, you have the urge to return and when you can control it then you're really a winner. A winner wants to come back to get more money while the loser wants to return because he wants to get back his loses.
Ladies play more because they are slow to react. I mean they are more emotional than men. Because of that, their addiction to the gambling is hard to erase. |
